The whole theory about having no choice but to sell Pogba is baloney. If he, by some miracle, wants to stay and Marotta can build another CL contending squad while incrementally increasing his wages then it's entirely possible that he could stay for the majority of his career. The club doesn't necessarily need the money from Pogba's sale to be competitive considering that it's debt free and it's revenue is increasing year on year. It's rare though, in this day and age, to see players refuse an extra 5-6 million in wages.
