We should get around ~130m for them, more than enough to buy proper replacements.
Then I'd imagine we'd go through hell once again trying to find replacement for a CM, a CF and the top AM we never had. Marotta with that money :howler:

It would be another wtf Summer window. Not sure the tuz can take 2 of those in a row. Mark, Hustini and others left. Another one of those i fear this site might shut down permanently. :D

imagine hes already sold, and his sale is what financed our mercato this season :shifty:
Wouldn't surprise me tbh. If Pogba leaves next season after being given that 10 shirt, shirt that HE asked for, it just reflects football has lost it's soul and footballers respect nothing.

:D lets also not forget how we got him, it's a 2 way street my man
Not quite the same, parceiro. He left because he wasn't being played enough (even though I think it's BS a player of his age should have any saying on whether he's playing enough).

He felt he could be more useful elsewhere which was the case. At least that's what i remember happened.

Here, at Juve, he's the best paid player in the squad. We had faith in him since the beginning, thanks to Conte. And gave him a very special role with the number 10. If Pogba leaves now (next season) just proves what i said above. Football has become a circus and all players are clowns.

Marotta was going to sell Pogba for much less than 100M. Just imagine if he sold him this summer at the same time as losing Vidal and Pirlo? WTF is wrong with him?

At this point I hope Pogba stays until we hire a more capable person to purchase talented players.

Best paid is all relative. He would leave because ebsides all the other fluff (titles and presige) instead of just 4.5m, he could earn 10m more in a ludicrously loaded team. Players who join us from small teams, biggiest reason they do so is because of the clear doubled salary bump, his would be just a continuation on that, and we arent the ceiling for that, as we found out with Vidal.

You just proved my point that it's a knife in the back. It's not a matter of money, Pogba knows he can double his salary elsewhere, easily. Truth is it would feel like betrayal if he was to leave now after all we've done for him.

We gave him a shirt that translates to "here, you're the face of Juventus now, we believe in you and that you're ready to take on the responsability that's being that guy. Make us proud." Leaving now It'd be just bad timing imo.

I would have no problem with him leaving 2 seasons from now but i dislike the way he made it sound, like it's up for grabs next season and only 3 weeks into the season. It's disrespectful, but then I'm old school and will never get used to players just doing the fuck they want and wiping the floor they walk on with the clubs they once played for. Maybe there lies the problem.

That is true, its a combination of both. If you want the best money, you go to City or PSG these days, but if its players who have the choice for the more ambitious clubs, you dont. For him I gather its a big combination of both, he wouldnt go to clubs that dont offer more then us sporting wise despite the huge salaries, and we can never compete with that at this point. But can atleast hold onto him longer, but the prestige/ambition part is something we pretty much cant do much of anything about unless we win CL, or sign some serious top players basically.

I understand you, but your problem is you give too much importants to sentimental stuff that the players DONT. It would be lovely if it meant more, but its your attribution to it, not his, the shirt number doesnt mean anything except bigger profile. And he hasnt signed a new contract suddenly, nor has he ever said he will stay here for good or even for the forseeable future. He has been through his agent, direct about that he is willing to move on from us eventually (sooner then we like it). I dont like it either, but its what it is, its his career and his choice, and IMO its not disrespectful because what would be disrespectful is lying and giving false hope. He focuses on one season at a time and keeps his future open, these days you cant ask for more. If he made some pledge, promise or commitment that he will stay her for long time or until he retires whatever (which would be foolish, and what Vidal partly did), THEN you would have qualms about feeling betrayed. But like this? Nah, as I said, its little cold, but he is pretty direct about how open the possibility of him moving on is. And our management knows it, Marotta has been pimping him out for months.

Morata is very good, but I dont worry that much for our ability to replace him, but with Pogba it will be pretty impossible IMO. And devestating blow to our prestige even if we get a record fee.
Take a huge chunk of that money and blow it on Veratti. Make our intentions clear. And hopefully Dybala lives up to expectations and we get to market him well as well.

I thought that adding "at the end of the season we'll see" to his answer was unnecessary and a lack of respect after reasons i already mentioned. Just say you're at Juventus and that's all you have to comment. It make fans happy while not being a definitive "i'm staying" answer. It's the smartest answer imo.

Our board goes out to say that only a phenomenal player that deserves it would wear the 10 shirt (Again, forget the number. it's not about the number itself but what it's supposed to represent), give him IT Then Pogba leaves one season right after that.

Wouldn't you find it tremendously frustrating? And yes, I understand the marketing reasons behind this, making his market value go up before selling and blahblah, but it would make my blood boil nevertheless. The emotional passionate fan of the club side of me would be pissed beyond words even if it's silly to.
