I did, but not for that reasoning.

I had no problem leaving them, we just have not allowed Goal.com articles on here for years.
That rule has been dead for a while.

Well, isn't your job to check that thread once in a while?
Or are you only mod of the "nobody-can-criticize-bundesliga"-thread?

And FYI, this is also a rule:

Do not:
* Open a new thread just to ask a question or just to post a new article, use the search function first, it might get your answer first and keep the forums tidier.

This could easily be discussed in Serie-A thread or Bundesliga-thread.

Thanks. Right, so Juventus started off with that in Serie A, and now more clubs need to follow on (I know Cagliari are in advanced talks about that). And just as importantly the stadiums can't be dumps like the current Cagliari one. Germany did well in the 2006WC to get these nice arenas renovated.

Well, also, all, repeat ALL of their games are either sellouts or they are at a minimum of 90% capacity or some shit.
It's impressive, Serie A needs to get people in like they do. What is going to happen to the Olympic Stadium in Munich?

italy's stadiums had a facelift in 1990..since then nothing happened. We are 15 years behind germany if we talk about stadiums and attendance. This + andy's macroeconomic post are the main reasons italy is 4th and 13 on the international ranking

I didn't say you couldn't criticize, I just said you can't post articles from Goal.com.

Probably nothing. It might get renovated, but as far as I know it still hosts a lot of events.

The fact that it hosted the '72 Olympics and all the history that surrounds that, I don't think it will ever be torn down.

The reason Bayern and 1860 got a new stadium was for atmosphere mostly. The AA has no track around it and is a much more modern stadium. The Olimpiastadion was nothing more than a big bowl with bleacher seating where the people in the front row were 20 meters from the field.

Now, the fans are right there.

Bundesliga may be better than the Serie A but the Serie A will remain more attractive.

And all this talk doesn't matter as long as barca can keep bringing joy to the world of football

Bundesliga is superiour to every league besides EPL when it comes to stadiums, broadcast quality and fan-atmosphere.

In terms of football I think even Eredivisie is the better league, the defending in Germany is laughable in general, no star players apart from Robben and the coaches are inferior to Italy's coaches.

Clubs need to privately own stadiums and either renovate or build it new. It's easier said than done, but the league needs more stadiums designed for football, instead of making these things that can hold the Olympics and rugby and all of that stuff.

Fans will appreciate football more if they are sitting close up to the pitch (and the flares will be easier to throw onto the pitch as well).

Thanks. It looks alright for athletics, I can understand the want to switch to AA.

Yes, because Werder Bremen and Wolfsburg have both set Europe on fire lately. Italy and Germany don't deserve more than 3 teams playing in Champions League.

This extra CL spot should go to EPL.
