Did it ever come out whether he was betting on football or not?

Let's see if anyone else gets punished.

Either way I'm glad the punishment seems to be making him attend some help for gambling addiction. If the rumours are true that is a crazy amount of money for anyone to bet, nevermind a 22 year old at the start of their career. Sounds like he needs the help.

Our midfield looks incredibly thin now. Hopefully it pushes us to sign someone in January.

so.. when Juventus is going to announce the termination of his contract?

We bought back Paolo Rossi from Perugia despite being banned for a year for match fixing for totonero. We let Conte sit out his 4-5 months ban with us as a coach for incidents in Arezzo or Bari.

I doubt we are terminating Fagioli, even if he is insignificant in stature compared to those.

Nicolò Fagioli is showing strong determination to overcome his gambling addiction with weekly visits to a specialist. He's surrounded by the love and support of family and friends as he aims to turn the page and heal. Fagioli wants to comeback as a stronger human being.

but conte's case he proved himself undefeated in season before winning serie a, plus he can still give instructions from cell phone to assitant to the manager.

is fagioli worth the hassle? it's not like he has xavi or pirlo level of talent

Is it a hassle tho? It's 7 months absence. If he was out injured for same duration we would waited.

Unless it contract clause breaking like doing drugs like Mutu in Chelsea, or multiple years ban for doping etc, rarely contracts are terminated for season long bans for various infringements (as Mark said, Izzo was 6 months banned for proven match fixing and was back after).

If your take is to sell him, then it's another matter. But that's only sometbing to ponder after ban is over. And its not particularly smart choice when his value will be at rock bottom after the absence.

It's cathartic for you guys to say sell as a mantra I guess, but its meaningless to say immediately after significant ban like this and outside a transfer window. It's likely scenario this morons career in Juve is over, but it won't be due to contract termination imo (and no immediate sale since its not possible, let alone during ban itself).

Lets see what happens next summer.

Dumb cunt....has no idea how lucky he is to be playing football for juve. Maybe he should go out, get a degree and start working like a other young men and earn fuck all money until they work their way up the ranks. Players today are just fucking stupid.

Sell because he has bad judgement.

same as sell Vidal after his DUI.

easy decision - before you get bent out of shape on comparing Vidal…it’s all about bad judgement.

we will be fine

if he wasn't HG i would agree with this
Who the F cares. Can’t keep a problem around because it’s HG. How much has he played this year? What tourney are we in and have a chance of winning that requires HG rules?

For years this club has had a problem knowing when to let go of a player. Solve that problem now

Its important for CL registration no? not saying he would ever be a starter but it makes sense to give HGs a shot
