Heard he had a great game, sounds really promising.

What seat do you guys think he will take on the bench while Rabiot plays 90 minutes every game instead? :sigh:

If Rabiot plays 90 minutes every game, it means Pogba is injured for a long time.

I forsee Rabiot being main backup to Pogba for coming season. Two left CMs won't start together much.

that doesn’t make much sense tbh. Rabiot is defensive minded, if anything he’d be playing with Pogba. Still think he gets sold though. He and Zakaria are redundant and I get the sense that McKennie will start in that hybrid wing role we saw Fagioli playing last night.

If Allegri plays Pogba as AM in a diamond or 4231, Rabiot will play with him. But I noticed Rabiot never plays RCM, seems confused there without being able to go wide with his left. And Pogba is a LCM that likes hugging left to drive and create.

So if Allegri sticks to the 433 to give Pogba his favourite left side, I forsee Rabiot more on bench. McKennie, Zakaria will play more right side. Maybe Fagioli too like in this game.

Preferred foot and style matters alot. For example McKennie is right footed like Pogba but he can't play left CM, all his worst games has been when he has been forced left, instead of right or central. Just how certain players like to play, habits and best way to get the best out of them.

It depends on the player. Rabiot many times stated that his proffered position is LCM and he doesn't like to be played deeper. Pogba proffered position is the same. It right though that they are different players, Rabiot is more defensive while Pogba is playing almost like CAM.
Now to the Zakaria and McKennie, both can only play on the right because they are limited when it comes to weak foot, Zakaria even more as he is actually never using his left foot.
Fagioli I don't know, looks like more technical player so probably could adapt to both sides but we are yet to see this. So basically what we have now:
LCM: Pogba, Rabiot and maybe Fagioli
CDM: Locatelli, Arthur, Rovella
RCM: Zakaria, McKennie, Fagioli, Miretti
What I would like to have:

LCM: Pogba, Fagioli
CDM: Locatelli, Rovella
RCM: Zakaria, Fagioli, Miretti
I'm yet to see but my understanding is that Miretti could also play both sides same as Fagioli. The one possible change is Paredes instead of Rovella and it really makes some sense, Rovella might be not rated by Allegri, we hear nothing on him from Max. In this case it's also possible to move Locatelli to RCM or LCM when both are playing.

Fagioli is quality. More than ready.
Rovella impressed me as well. Did well considering we weren't putting together 2 passes in second half.

Rest of the youngsters didn't look ready.

... Pogba and Di Maria will shred Serie A.

Keep him and Rovella pls. Ramsey and Arthur contribute literally zero to the squad, so these kids will be much better than those two anyway. Plus, so much cheaper too.

Focus the spending on the left wing, it screams mediocrity in comparison to midfield...

Then it's first team. The French Fag is on insane wages and offers nothing, except a body on the field when he's available - he's a lethargic self-entitled prick with a toxic cunt for an agent. Whether he leaves now or next summer, it shouldn't matter - the important thing is he is fucked off with extreme prejudice. The management better not consider offering him an extension, not even for 2 million.

I'll reserve my judgement until after this season. He's capable of neutralising players like very few can. What I won't do is let emotions cloud my judgement. He had some good performances last year, and one spectacular.

LMAO. You are incredibly biased when it comes to this abominable turd nugget. We've already seen what he can do - he's had 3 fucking seasons to prove himself and has done diddly squat. In total, he's had about 10 solid performances in a Juve shirt - 10 solid performances in 3 fucking years. Fuck off with giving him a chance. He earns 7 million a fucking year - for that kind of money he should be dying on the pitch and sucking everyone off, including the fans.

He did nothing less then the rest of the team tbh. More than many actually. Not exactly the player to resolve our issues with goals and assists. However, during difficult games he was one of the few that managed to have good performances. We don't have a better midfielder in our roster with his attributes and with the ability to man-mark. Therein lies my bias. Nothing personal. Nothing emotional. Purely based on football, and the games we're about to play in CL in the winter.

When we play Bayern Munich or Manchester City. I 1000 percent would choose Rabiot instead of McKennie, Zakaria or Fagioli.

Put your emotions aside and you'll know i'm right.

Lol, come on dude. It isn’t ‘Rabiot was as bad as the others’, in fact in every underwhelming game we had he managed to be one of the worst performers on the pitch. Undoubtedly.

That guy doesn’t serve us anymore. Never did tbh. No grinta, or any type of passing/technical ability to compensate it.
