I hope this will also mean that the quality of the Hive products will increase. I have Jive shirt which I bought on Jive store for like 120 Euro and the quality really sucks. After I bought it I said to myself I will never buy any Juve clothes that are manufactured by the club and not adidas/Nike. Hopefully this logo change will also increase the quality.

It might also the way to make profit from our Italian fan base. Make casual clothes line with this logo and promote it in Italy. I can see black and white polos being really popular. Would buy one myself TBH.

how can it be bigger than the city when it is the club that represents the city?
Last time I checked Torino FC has significantly more fanbase than Juve in Turin, they are named after the city and their mascot is the city's Bull. Juve represent Italy and their fans are distributed all over Italy.

The Crown also represents the city's traditional home of the Italian royal family
See. What does the royal family has to do with this Juve or the old?

I can't believe people are so hung up over an emblem than the broader, long-term scheme that the club is pursuing.

Small minded men think of small things I guess

In the end it's just a matter of 10 years or so and they'll change it and we will enjoy the same so called debate again.
10000% Exactly!

and the same people who are shook by the change now will be shook by the change then

God I hope they don't pussy out because of small minded people who can't bare the thought of change. If the campaign starts off with a backtrack it's dead before it even started.

Fuck the perennial past dwellers, for every Juve fan who boycotts the club because it's ambitious and making progress several new fans will end up taking their place.

Like I said Juve is from Turin, the history, the Agnelli family, everything, we are the dominant club in Turin in terms of history and success. We didn't start anywhere else and we haven't moved anywhere it's not like the old wimbledon side that moved to Milton Keynes, we represent the city at least domestically

What if the long-term scheme is to primarily become a lifestyle-services-fashion-whatever brand that happens to have a football department, with the money flowing out of the latter into the former and not the other way around? Because, knowing the Elkanns, that's my concern. The question is whether purpose and means have switched positions.
