But this is really The fact that he has such a rabid following considering these numbers, it's easy to see how he became the Republican nominee over better candidates. I genuinely think any other of the major Republican candidates besides that other psycho Cruz would have beat Hillary, especially Kasich. She's really that hated. Just look at Zoso, and he doesn't even live in the same continent. It's going to be very difficult for Republicans to win the Presidency in the future with how socially backwards they are.

Meet the people? Ask them what effects them? What do you do for work Andy? Where do you live? Are you a rural working class type? Are these your close friends? Are you constantly interacting with these types?
Because I am. I worked with them for years, and now I employ them. I live in a community of them. A mix of conservative retirees and young "redneck" working class people. Trades, fisheries, forestries, mining, farming, small local businesses, etc. I interact with these people daily. So don't talk about liberals only reading textbooks and not understanding what impacts these people on a personal level, as though you have any kind of clue, or somehow are the only one here who has the experience to know about these things. I run a small business building houses, in a small town. I know exactly what sort of issues impact these communities and such small businesses. And Trump's hare-brained policies are certainly not going to help us. He's a cultural conservative, and I doubt he has the slightest clue what fiscal conservatism actually is, nor do the vast majority of his imbecilic supporters, in America, or here in Canada.
Fear-mongering is exactly what Trump is doing. Are you completely oblivious to his rhetoric for the last several weeks?

When he's talking about US sovereignty, he's referring to the various trade deals that Obama and Hillary have backed, along with UN initiatives that are basically globalist agendas. Examples would be TPP and climate change initiatives. Whether you believe in GW or not, entering into multi-national agreements when China and Russia do not participate makes no sense whatsoever. Whenever you have a foreign body in charge of some element of policy, it certainly makes sense that some degree of sovereignty is lost.
I also don't really believe Trump is a true fiscal conservative, but the folks in business I know from West Virginia would at least like a lesser tax and regulation burden. Much of it is on a state-level, but the whole federal tax code is a disaster as it currently stands and needs to be simplified. Not to mention the fact that the Obama administration essentially vowed to put coal out of business, which is obviously problematic for some in WV. It's good you work with the community -- I was responding to Maddy who is obviously a basement-dweller intellectualard.
As far as fear-mongering goes, I find it comical they are running with the narrative that Trump will cause riots after the election. 1) Most likely Hillary will win and there has been very little violence from Trump supporters and 2) If Trump wins, it will be the BLM and other folks causing violence. CNN and others push this narrative to get ahead of the game, but I would literally bet thousands of dollars that any widespread violence will be from the usual suspects. They have no basis for these claims.

The biggest problem with coal in West Virginia is coal in West Virginia. The industry has been on the down turn for a while but the state just ignores it. Doesn't really have as much to do with Obama and the EPA as it does with the emergence of nat gas and other coal sources. Basically just economics.
