Jon Stewart was genius. I like John Oliver, love his show (and the format). But none of the current late show hosts will ever get to where Jon reached because on top of his intelligence, Jon was always emotionally connected to what was happening. His show basically channeled his anger and frustration into something remarkable.

Not related to presidential race, but this story says a lot about Texas. Mary Lou Bruner is a candidate for state board of education district 9. Last night, she won 48% of the vote in republican primary and is heading to a runoff primary on May 24th. She's probably the craziest person ever run for any office in US.
