Trump needs 50% of the delegates to avoid a brokered convention. Right now he doesn't have 50% of delegates awarded so far, but that might change with winner take all states.

How is this going to be brokered if Trump has the delegates? Delegates pledged to trump will vote for him on the first ballot, right?

They will find a way. This happened in 2012 where a couple of states that Romney won, the delegates went against the popular vote as a result of their primary and voted for Ron Paul, I believe.
