http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/main/2016/02/trump-leads-rubio-even-head-to-head-in-florida.html

The most remarkable thing in this poll though is what happens when you narrow the field down to just Trump and Rubio- Trump still leads by double digits at 52/38. Rubio does win over supporters of Cruz (56/25), Kasich (47/32), and Carson (64/21) in such a scenario. But Trump has such a big lead to begin with and picks up enough of the supporters of the also rans that it gives him the overall 14 point advantage.
Also, wtf:

Finally we find that 38% of Florida voters think it's possible that Ted Cruz is the Zodiac Killer. 10% say he for sure is, and another 28% say that they are just not sure. Cruz is exonerated from being a toddler serial killer by 62% of the Sunshine State populace.

New CNN/ORC poll shows Trump's support among republicans at 49%!
But 35% of republicans said they definitely won't vote for Trump if he wins GOP nomination. Another 13% said they probably won't

John Oliver is brilliant!!! Him and HBO's resources are perfect combo!
I like it, but for some reason he lacks some of the bite and intellect that Stewart had. Oliver is his own man, but he's clearly following the Stewart formula somewhat here.

Yeah this was typical Daily Show roasting (it's just he put like 6 episodes of The Daily Show in one segment), but Oliver kinda moved on with his show, he throws few punchlines and witty comments, but his show now is more like some kind of short documentary where he devotes more than 20 minutes to a single topic. And while it might not be that interesting to people who live outside of USA, I think he nailed it, because he address some basic issues regular people face every day.

Yeah their humour is definitely very similar, but the format is clearly different imo.

LWT is higher quality too I think, probably primarily due to them having more time and budget to prepare an episode.

I'd say he about 80% nailed it. I still see room for better skewering Trump above and beyond glorifying his name, for example. What didn't quite make the mark for me, which is something Stewart did so well to avoid, was that his critique probably only served to strengthen support among his supporters -- rather than called them to question it.

As such, whereas Stewart could find ways to transcend political groupthink and raise points that will generate questions across a broader political spectrum, Oliver falls a bit more to preaching to the choir.

Jon Stewart was genius. I like John Oliver, love his show (and the format). But none of the current late show hosts will ever get to where Jon reached because on top of his intelligence, Jon was always emotionally connected to what was happening. His show basically channeled his anger and frustration into something remarkable.
