Watched I'm Thinking of Ending Things jesus wtf
Had some great moments, but overall I didn't really like it. Couldn't get into it for some reason.

Some of the most recent ones I watched. Because, well, what else am I going to do? Watch the CL? :lol2:

Sollers Point: It's all right. The kind of movie the average movie critic adores, I guess.

La Tenerezza: Average. No major faults, but pretty boring. The opening moments were promising, but it never really got going.

I See You: Shame I saw it. One unexpected & original twist, which I liked. Other than that, it's pretty bad.

Shazam!: I don't know exactly how long it's been, but I decided to give superhero movies another chance. And I had been lead to believe this one was entertaining & funny. Sadly, it was neither. Absolutely dreadful movie.

Stowaway: Pleasant surprise. If you can get past the ridiculous premise, this isn't bad at all. Although the melodrama gets a bit much near the end.

Teen Spirit: Had its moments. Central performance is good, the movie itself feels a bit like a work in progress, as some character moments really seem to come out of nowhere. An extended music video, you could say.

To be honest, I have only watched The Man Who Sold His Skin, Nomadland and Promising Young Woman of these. Unless Midnight Cowboy is the original one - and not some new-ish film as you say?

The Man Who Sold His Skin is an interesting premise, but bad execution. Promising Young Woman you will hate. Nomadland is a really good film - but a film that really requires a lot of attention and patience.

I watched Nomadland last night. I watched Les Choses qu'on dit, les choses qu'on fait today.

I was planning to watch The Man Who Sold His Skin tomorrow. I was also planning to watch Palm Springs and Slalom soon.

You're right, though, Cowboy is the old movie, they just show it at fest here as a classic.

What did you think of Nomadland? And you able to watch all these in the cinema - since it's apparently a film festival?

Yeah, they are all in the cinema. I'm not able to watch all since there aren't many projections and it lasts like 12 days only, so I was trying to make a short list out of those. The list is even bigger, we have around 70 movies here at the moment. Luckily tickets aren't expensive and I was taken to the French one as a guest so I didn't pay at all. Only today I've realized that we've got IMAX over here since recently, I'm yet to watch there lol.

I really liked Nomadland. I really think it's a good movie. However, I do not think it deserves all those Oscars as I don't rate it that high. But I really enjoyed it, it was really well done, but I think it lacked something.

Man Mads Mikkelsen is such an awesome actor.

Btw, dont let the above trailer fool you, my danish coworkers tell me the movie is straight up hilarious dark comedy. The international trailer makes it look like uber serious dramatic jason Bourne type action movie :D
