wtf was that ending about? He grows skin of steel because he believes in it hard enough and what was the resolution for the lead girl? She finally has the courage to shoot her new oppressor but it doesnt hurt him cause steel skin but then he sees these unexplained "abuse" scars on her and sees them as kindred spirits...i was enjoying the movie but the 3rd act was a fucking mess. was the movie seriously just a setup for mcavoy to be the villian in unbreakable 2 and a shayamalanverse

Utter shit. Pretty window dressing with a butchered narrative and a bunch of lazy, droning, skin deep, "profound" dialogue that merely scratches at the surface of the original, and somehow misplaces all the darkly enigmatic and poetic of the original.

Scarlett Johansson was garbage. Played her role more like her performance in that even shittier film, Lucy, than what you would expect or want from the role of Major
