Who else is excited about Mel Gibson's new film?
I was fucking excited as fuck!!!! Watched it two fays ago, and holy fuck!!! I suggest people to do some more research on Desmond Doss before watchung the movie or if you have already watched it, read about Desmond and thrn rewatch the movie. After extensive research on Desmond prior to watching this movie i can tell you guys that this movie is 98% true in presenting what this guy did back in 1945. Amazing movie, and thr fact that it is based on a true story makes this movie 10 times more powerful.

    Who cares? It doesen't change the fact that it is a bland movie. An imbecile can make a movie from a wikipedia script.
    Thats because you have no fucking idea what this guy did and who he is. You are just talking out of your ass and you words stink like shit even through my phone. Its not a "Wikipedia story" man, come on. Everything depicted in the movie is true and what this guy did is simply amazing. Just look at the Medal Of Honor citation from president Truman when he awarded Desmond his medal.

    As I said - straight out of Wikipedia. Now, shut the fuck up.

    @Post Ironic @Völler

    can you hook me up with some quality Tarkovsky links? Not movies, but reviews and random good stuff? I know it was posted here many times, dunno if you know any
    Have you read Sculpting in Time? It's definitely worth finding a copy if you have not. Brilliant read. https://utpress.utexas.edu/books/tarscp

    It's available online as a PDF here: https://monoskop.org/images/d/dd/Tarkovsky_Andrey_Sculpting_in_Time_Reflections_on_the_Cinema.pdf

    This article and analysis is pretty fascinating: http://offscreen.com/view/tarkovsky1

    As well as this, on Nostalghia: http://www.synoptique.ca/core/en/articles/nostalghia/

    This paper from a University of Chicago professor is another good one: http://www.tate.org.uk/research/pub...sky-and-contemporary-art-medium-and-mediation

    This book is one of my favourites in my little library:
