Oasis creates music; Metallica produces yelling with a side of complaining about music piracy for a free lunch.

They are the most overrated band in the history of the world, and shame on them for bitching about piracy.
 Oasis creates boring dreary poppy shit with no balls, they're a rock band that doesn't rock.

see I can do it too, I'd probably rate Oasis (or Radiohead or U2) as the most overrated band in the history of the world

this is 100 million times better than anything Oasis made

i dont think you get it, kurt cobain and the like had as much personality on and off stage as a watermelon, they were actually anti-rock, hence the grunge title. As for hetfield, it's funny that youd show a pic of him from the 80s.

Oasis rocked, your ignorance of their repertoire is not going to change that.
Liam Gallagher aka I put sunglasses on and look into the camera with poker face, such a great frontman.

Google James Hetfield 1991....

Seems like you just have a problem with bands from the UK, which is fine. I don't like Radiohead, or the rent-seeking U2 for that matter. But it doesn't make you an expert on this.

Actually my favourite bands are from the UK but not the 90s, they are a disgrace to the UK bands from the 60s & 70s. I don't see how you are an expert either...

Either way, you have issues with UK bands past the 70's. Nothing wrong with that.

But to lump in Oasis with all those other bands shows a lack of understanding, "mate."

You are such a petulant child at times. Everyone is free to enjoy/like whatever music they want. By ridiculing and berating their taste you aren't more of a man. Grow the fuck up. I'm telling you this, because I like you.

Neither of you are experts, and even the experts can be subjective.

Bruuuu, I could just kiss you right now, you sweet, darling boy. Let's put on Liam Gallagher masks, listen to Oasis, and make out like it's 1996...

Oasis is not even close to best band of the 90s

Alice in Chains
Metallica
Soundgarden
Nirvana
Megadeth
Tool
Smashing Pumpkins
Pantera
Pearl Jam
Rage Against The Machine
Faith No More
R.E.M.
Deftones
Guns n' Roses
Queens of the Stone Age
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Down
Stone Temple Pilots
The Offspring
Kyuss
Neurosis
Silverchair
Melvins
Foo Fighters
System of a Down
Helmet

etc...

90s UK rock sucked ass big time. actually it has sucked hard since the 80s too.

I really don't know how anyone can like those turd bands such as Oasis, Radiohead, Blur, U2 etc

There's some interesting bands/groups like Porcupine Tree, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Primal Scream, Depeche Mode, Stone Roses etc but it doesn't really stack up
omgz watch out we got a rocker here. LOLZ

Was this thread just invaded by 13 year old boys?

Anywho, just finished Gone Girl. Fucking loved it. Thought it was hysterical at times.
Loved how...
it transforms from nuts and bolts thriller to satire.
I don't know where it ranks among the best films of the year, but I found it highly enjoyable.
