Talked with a friend today about a specific film which led me to thinking: What is the most visually stunning feature film? Obviously, picking just one is impossible, but I'd be interesting in hearing some opinions. I have a couple of films in mind, but I'll let you go first. Go, go, go! :D

I really loved the visuals in The Fountain. The fluid dynamics look great!

A couple that come to mind are Kingdom of Heaven, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Blade Runner, Vertigo, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, LOTR: Return of the King... If I think of more I'll add them.

Malick's film always appears in my head when thinking about visually stunning films, Days of Heaven, The Thin Red Line and The Tree of Life in particular. Stalker and Raging Bull are also incredibly beautiful. Lawrence of Arabia and 2001 would definitely be up there some place as well.

The Color of Money

I enjoyed it.
Seen The Hustler? The Color of Money is a sequel to The Hustler, and though the films are very different and can be seen independently, I wouldn't miss The Hustler if I were you. :)

I was wishing this ludicrous serial killer to just kill them all 20 mins into the movie...(oh mah god is Cusack awful as Poe...), I didnt even care for one second when the big reveal of the serial killer came. So frigging bad.
