Which I don't find to be that much of a problem. You're alone, you have noone to talk to, you grip on to anything that might help you. Then you get back to civilization, it's no longer a desperate situation and you can put it behind you.

True. I guess it depends on how you are interpreting the experience. The atheist might see it as a necessity that should be put behind you, while the religious person might see it is as something more than just that.

i felt the same way about this, although i will be pretty frank here i did'nt think the meaning was soo deep as to put it into a comparison between people who choose to have faith and others who dont. when i recall the movie i can clearly see where this point arises. the point i mentioned as to sth i liked about the movie really makes me appreciate the character as being a normal human being with emotions, and normal psychology and i think this break down he had would actually happen to a lot of people regardless of there stance towards religion. after all we r humans and too much bad luck and suffering does have its toll on our psychology and how we look at things. as for the ending i think it would come down to each persons way of looking at things. people with faith would look at it as a miracle from god or a blessing if you like, people who choose not too, would look at it, at having a strong will and urge to live on and get out of this ordeal which in no case would be easy.

i;m nearly half way thru silver lining play book and i must say its awesome i'm liking it a lot any one seen the paperboy? is it any good?

Also, I saw Zero Dark Thirty on Thursday and it's very good.

silver lining playbook is pretty cool i enjoyed it a great deal. p.s has any one met a character like robert di niro's character in real life?? i know people like him but not exactly to the extent portrayed and i guess with old age it becomes a bit too much.

It's well done. Good characters. Director keeps tension high throughout.

It's far less propaganda than people think. Nowhere near the campiness of Act of Valor.
