Hugo, Life of Pi, Avatar and Prometheus used 3D better than The Hobbit if you ask me. :)
Havent seen first two, disagree on Prometheus though. Did you see it in 48 or regular version? I didnt care as much about the moments it was noticeable it was in 3D "movements" so to speak, more interesting to just see How very elevated the picture quality was throughout.

Wasnt even a contest, far far better quality then anything else in 3D basically, for sure more so then prometheus.

No. Porn in HD is weird. I couldn't imagine it that clear.
Lol never seen porn in HD, but yeah it might be too real hehe.

I saw it in 24 fps 3D. I'm sure that the 48 fps would add something technically, more precisely a clearer image as you mentioned (though that clearer image might make it look strange and unreal for you...), but regarding the use of 3D and how it used depth, I think my 24 fps viewing gave a good impression of that. :) The Hobbit's use of 3D wasn't bad at all, it's just that I've seen better. :)

Indeed.

But not the best one IMO. I liked both Tintin and How To Train Your Dragon better :)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut is the greatest animated film of all time. imo. :)

The Incredibles is a close second.
Toy Story , every movie of the triology

As for fps i think they should increase it up to 60 fps , it will take some time to getting used too and for the cg experts to get the effects right maybe , but it is definetly worth it for a better exp . Games have been in 60 fps for years and same for sports i think .

60 fps should be standart

Looking forward to Jack Reacher.
That film is cack. Unless you like films like The Expendable, maybe.
Jack Reacher is too constructed, full of corny one-liners and it is the kind of Tom Cruise film we have seen many times before - it's only worse this time.
There are a lot of unintentional funny moments in the film too (as well as some intentional ones) which make the film easier to get through. However, the film is average at best and I wouldn't reccomend it. :)
