JAWS was on TV last night - Still in my Top 5 of all time.
That is a great flick. As much as it commercially destroyed most American cinema forever.
A few things I saw on the plane getting here...
Moneyball - Good. See it. Hard to make a good story out of statistics, but they did it.
Contagion - I actually liked this movie. Part of that might be because I'd like to see Gwyneth Paltrow die of a fatal disease. But it's not the sort of movie you want to see on a plane on the way to India if you don't like getting all self-conscious...
Rise of the Planet of the Apes - OK, I don't get it. I had so many friends and people that this was one of the best-made movies of last year. After seeing it, I would rather watch
Biodome. Absolute crap. Sad acting, a flaky story, fake-looking monkeys everywhere doing non-sensical things. Ugh. Probably the worst movie I watched last year. Burn the originals, please. Humanity should do without.
