I watched last night Midnight in Paris and enjoyed every single bit of it, Woody Alen is great in my opinion and I don't care what the haters think of him.

Whats up with people here and Spike Lee? He sucks balls!

Knowing he's going to direct Oldboy (one of my favorite movies) is a big disappointment!. His only decent movie was 25th Hour and Inside Man. While bunch of other average movies like Summer of Sam, and ridiculous ones like She Hate Me. People are talking about him as he's a Tarantino. Nigga please!
Do The Right Thing is great, as is Malcolm X. Clockers is pretty good as well, same for his documentary about Hurricane Katrina.

Finally watched Black Swan last night. Really good, brilliant performances. Liked how they used the (digital) effects in this movie, not too often but always improving the narrative.
The Rum Diary was decent as well. One of those few movies that actually get better as they progress. Too many dull/uninteresting moments though, even if that did make the impact of other scenes bigger as a result.
The Green Hornet was basically a waste of time (M. Gondry often seems to make poor films), and the same can pretty much be said about Tamara Drewe. Even if the central performance(s) somewhat saved it.
Got my much needed fix of B-movie crap by watching Storm Warning: meh. A few decent scenes can't save an entire movie.
While Dinner Rush is well worth a watch, but probably not for everyone.

I finally saw It Might Get Loud. Some folks told me how awesome it was as a movie, even if you don't particularly like the guitarists. I say it's a pretty entertaining movie if you like the guitarists. But not so much if you don't.

It was pretty entertaining for me since I play guitar. Jimmy Page is probably my favourite guitarist but it was interesting to hear about Jack White & The Edge too. Their jam on In My Time of Dying = :tuttosport:

watched "the whistleblower" last night and despite a boring beginning it really picks up and revolves around sex trafficking that toke place in the after mass of the bosnian war. really grabbed my attention.

had nothing better to do so i watched " when in rome" and just managed to watch the first 30 mins before shutting it down bec it was just waaaaaaaaaaay too cheesey and kristen bell really gets on yr nerves as her acting feels pretty stiff and annoying.

22 bullets: loved it a great deal!!!!!

I have to say that his written work is much much better than his film work. His movies arent that special, but his plays and short stories that he has written are wonderful.....
