Saw Gladiator for about the 10th time yesterday. Never got bored of it.

The Sting - Couldn't live up to my (admittedly high) expectations. The Newman - Redford combo is brilliant though.

Ghostbusters - Awesome. Enjoyed it a lot more than the 1st time I watched.

Dread - Psychological horror movie based on a Clive Barker story. A couple of well made scenes, but overall quite poor.

Jerry Maguire - Still highly entertaining. Obviously better than your average romcom, thanks in part to some fun details. How times have changed though: Tom Cruise was still enjoyable, Renee Zellweger was still charming & Cuba Gooding Jr still had a career.

Mr73 - French police thriller. Average at best, at times it felt like I was watching completely random scenes, they didn't even follow up on some plot points. I liked the director's previous one a lot better (36 Quai des Orfèvres).

Yeah, I have seen JCVD. Was pretty good, I wouldn't say it was hilarious, but it was definitely a fun movie.
Definitely his best movie ever. But that's not exactly saying much.

Yup, I guess it's partly because you get used to the whole concept after a while.

Honestly, I was never really into fighting movies when I was a kid, though I have seen most of those you mention. I was just much more into costume dramas & Albanian arthouse flicks.

Robocop still is quite good. It's only been a few months since I watched it.

The first two maybe but the rest is absolute thrash.

Since we're on old-style action movies, couple of days ago I saw Tango & Cash again. Still awesome for what it is.
