That's actually a good movie compared to V's mostly lame list, and not exactly a rom-com. I'd recommend you to watch the original version (L'appartement) which is much better, starring Vincent Cassel & Monica Bellucci.

TBH, I was able to follow the story quite easily. I don't know why people are confused of the ending. If you judge it based on the concepts introduced in the story, it's evident he's not dreaming.

It's a great movie indeed, but IMO Shutter Island was a bigger mindfuck!

I finally watched Shutter Island today. If Sheik hadn't spoiled it, I would have enjoyed it more

I did too, and it was frigging fantastic. Quite powerful, not because its a twist, but because of how its done. Also say Up!, and yeah, dont think calling it awesome would suffice. What a wonderful movie.
