IT LOOKS SO BAD, SO BAD, SO BAD, SO BAD..SO BAD.

why why why why why did cameron have to make this....seriously why?
I have seen dances with wolves, it was a good film, i dont want to see it set in space and made about blue people!
Sounds like Cameron wasted too much time on this movie and the ideas are going to be old hat by the time its released. Sounds like another Waterworld failure.

Say Osman you're such a film buff, ever seen any Polish movies?
I'm not a film buff, but pretty open to movies from anywhere, that happend to be able to watch, yeah. Except Swedish movies, and nordic ones in general :D I'm biased against those :p (except some danish movies, and other few exceptions like Bergman etc).

I think I have seen polish movies, but dont recall one at the moment.

Talking about polish stuff, one of my absolute fave book series is a fantasy one called The Witcher (really amazingly fresh fantasy take to things). I heard they did a series and a movie on that, prolly low quality (compared to the books), but I so want to see that anyway.

I was thinking more along the lines of this Mongol movie I just saw. We've made a couple ones like that, adaptations of Sienkiewicz novels (prolly never heard of him but he wrote a shelf full of semi-historical epics).

Some of these movies have been reshot quite recently, like for instance:

No havent been exposed to them. Anything historical fiction is me likey, especially type and part of history I am not usually exposed to. Which ones are worth downloading (I doubt they are avalaible to rent), and hopefully they'll have subs.

You reminded me btw, I should watch Red Cliff, Chinese star studded apart about the Three Kingdoms. I havent seen it yet, but I can still heavily recommend for you to see it.

I would recommend that one, I've seen it. They also did a big money remake of Quo Vadis, which is a Roman epic, but I never could find it.

Ok, will look it up. And yeah access been my issue, I have tried to find The Witcher adaptions, an abandoned torrent here or there, but in generally basically impossible to get hold of. And The Witcher is supposed to be one of the biggiest pop cultural exports of Poland. So hopefully better with the movies you are recommending, but wouldnt be suprising.

Btw, 17th century Polish history, does any of the movies/books entail the Swedish invasion? :D

Yes, I'd expect you to pick up that thread, historian and all :)

There is a three part series called the Trilogy, whose middle volume (and largest), is in fact largely about the Swedish invasion.

Btw Osman, have you noticed that most of what you do is relativizing? You agree with people very often in their general stance, but you always find some problem with their quantity. Yes it was good, but not that good, come on. Yes he was trolling but now he's just being far too ridiculous in his trolling. Yes it sucked but it wasn't that bad, you're exaggerating.

I like to be precise, sue me :D I would hardly call that exaggerating (dont even get in what sense you mean, hehe). There is not just good or bad, but varying levels of it.

But regarding ze trolling bit, which I guess is what fueled your post hehe, as I said, there is a way to be too much/pathetic even in trolling. Levels of trolling. And its not just because he is an Inter fan. I think the same about CDM in XT, he like Nera, goes waaaaaaaay overboard in intensity (signing up in whole another site just for the purpose of that, too obbssessive in my book, regardless of who does it). As I said, proportions matter :p

Well Nera has always been a little touched in the head. His obsession with Juve has subsided a bit (it seems) since Inter is now running Serie A. Either that or he's not letting on. But before Calciopoli, having a reasonable conversation with him...

Touched in the head indeed. I think he is reasonable guy in general (even after calciopoli). Dont disagree. But there is a reason he is the only poster that is blocked from Juventus forum in XT :p He is 100% infantile and obbssessive when something about a certain club comes up (or just general confrontions in general, turns aggressively obbssessive and cant let go :p).

You are bit slow on the great films of David Fincher arent you? :D First with Fight Club now Seven. Must be nice to see them for the first time, hehe.

P.S Martin, pointless to talk of Nera trolling, because it turns outs it not even him :D

Movies in general would be hard, but regarding the director David Fincher, you seen his best (fight club), but his newer stuff, Benjamin Buttons (not seen it), Zodiac (this one is great IMO, also serial killer, but quite different from Seven) and the fine mind games thriller that was The Game are also worth seeing.

I say this is Brad Pitt's best performance. He says more with one look here than he ever did with hundred lines
