Rescue Dawn was pretty good, pretty realistic (I think) in what it portrays.

But, if I was you; I'd watch Empire, Prestige, Rescue in that particular order. After watching Empire, you'll see Bale in a lot more appreciative manner. ;)

It didn't really do it for me. The plot's fine, it's competently acted and shot and directed, but it just seemed a bit derivative to me.
Well you gave a lot of compliments there, I agree with them. Maybe you've seen too many movies like it, but I'm enjoying this international police story.

To be honest, Martin, it could even have been the mood I was in that evening. Its reviewers blew hot and cold too, so I don't quite know what to make of it. Anyway, enjoy the rest of it!

I'm fucking pumped for Tron Legacy. Just realised that Daft Punk are going to do the score. That is so fucking dope.

What Just Happened - I guess they were aiming to make a Hollywood satire but the result is sketchy at best. Some good moments save this overall mediocre movie.

Confessions of a Shopaholic - Yes, I know this was a chick flick. No, that wasn't gonna stop me from watching. It pretty much sucked though, very few amusing moments.

Papillon - Not the (pretty good) Editors song, rather the classic movie starring Steve McQueen & Dustin Hoffman. Really good & very enjoyable, as most of McQueen's work. When there's not a single boring moment in a 140 min movie, you just know it's A-OK.
More importantly, this movie also teaches us a very valuable lesson: Never trust a nun.

The Heartbreak Kid - Maybe I have low standards, but I think it's pretty funny.
- "He was only joking"
- "About anal rape!?"
