Its really awesome, to say the least. The Hans Landa character (Christopher Waltz) is for me the best performance I have seen this year.

Inglorious Basterds was much better than I expected, actually an engrossing movie despite its flaws.

District 9 was also better than I expected, still not sure what I think of it though....some good, some bad

Swingers - Didn't particularly like it.
How come? I remember it being pretty good (a tad overhyped maybe).

In the valley of Elah - Good movie, at times maybe a bit "easy". I knew very little about the "true facts" this movie was based on, so I was intrigued until the very end.

Also rewatched Crank. Doesn't make any sense and is completely over the top & ridiculous on each level, but in a good way. Really enjoyable.

Trick r' Treat - Billed as the next great Halloween classic by critics. Filmed in 2007 and set for a straight to DVD release after a studio rumble over distribution rights. Saw it last night and I have to agree with the critics. It's a smart "holiday" film which plays to all the traditional rules of a good Halloween movie with out being lame or over the top. Basically an R rated Hocus Pocus meets Halloween (the original). Plot us simple, non linear film in which the characters of 4 scary stories weave their way through an overzealous, Halloween loving Ohio town. A couple of the stories are rather disturbing, one funny, and another surprisingly heart warming. Ana Paquin in the Little Red Riding Hood costume... Need I say more? A shame it's not going to get a theatrical release, though the straight to DVD could pave the way to cult status.

Catch Me If You Can - It has been on my computer for ages. Very nice movie.
I found that a bit of a let-down. I suppose there was a lot of hype around it, but still, I expected more given the names involved - Spielberg, Hanks, Di Caprio and a very strong supporting cast.
