Shrooms - Another lame "t(w)eens in the woods" horror flick. Barely watchable for the most part, except the first 20-30 min. which made me laugh twice.

The Man From Earth

Simply put, a highly captivating little piece of cinema that I REALLY recommend for you all to see. I dont want to say too much, to dampen the experience with expectations and different perceptions or such. But simply give it a try. One of the more engaging movies I seen in a while.

Its a small low budget movie that heavily relies on excellent writing and simply good acting. Here's the synopsis:

An impromptu goodbye party for Professor John Oldman becomes a mysterious interrogation after the retiring scholar reveals to his colleagues he is an immortal who has walked the earth for 14,000 years.

I saw the first 30 minutes of Zombieland yesterday, it wasnt funny, and it wasnt original, it was combination of old ideas...with zombies. Im not going to bother with the rest.

I also watched 'the damned united' which i thought was a really good film and i hope michael sheen gets more and more roles, hes a fantastic actor.

No isnt. A film that bases itself on the sole joke of someone trying to find a twinkie, is a film that has no imagination.

Just finished hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, not a bad film, you can forgive the bad acting and story changes for the cool factor of all the stuff you have imagined being put on screen for you.

It's good that you came here to tell me how I really felt. I just can't trust my judgment.
