The Fall, which is the prettiest move I've ever seen, though a little thin on plot.
I really enjoyed this one too and managed to see it in a theater. Great dark fairy tale. And breathtakingly beautiful as you said. Tarsem also did The Cell, I think. Also very visual, yet lacking on ploy. I'd like to see more from this guy.

Switchblade Romance, which has more plot holes than a script made of cheese.
That's the one that was originally called "Haute Tension", right?
I thought that one had some pretty nice scenes (I vaguely remember something about a staircase), so I could live with the plot holes.

Watched Get Over It last night. Cheesy, teen rom com. Not good (what a surprise!), but I've seen a lot worse.

Yes, he also made The Cell. The Fall dwells more on the stunning visuals, and you're not distracted by how crap an actress Jennifer Lopez is. He's supposedly working on his third film.

That's right. I think it was translated as "High Tension" in the US. It's perfectly well made, reasonably tense, but the plot holes are obnoxious, e.g.

[spoiler]

who's driving the van during the car chase?
Where'd she get the van given she was driven to the location, apparently for the first time?

    The Aviator

First time I tried to watch this film, I thought it was the most boring shit ever. I got absolutely charmed by it in the second viewing.
I guess timing is everything, even when it comes to watching movies.
