Known about this for 1-2 years. And I generally have a pretty open mind to remakes (if you bother to adapt, and not just steal its thunder or just use the name), but Its RIFIFI, seriously too good for words (bank scene is priceless).

And I'm a, or was, a Pacino fanboy, but he has hammed it in his last half a dozen movies, so question is, will we get a serious Pacino putting in an effort (more dramatic roles of late, like Merchant in Venice), or a shamelessly coasting on his reputation without any effort Pacino like he has been too often.


Important part is, who is the director?

He is a rare versatile kinda entertainer that kind suprise you, but yeah cant do certain roles. But I want to see that movie for Gerard Butler (been wanting to see everything he does since seeing Attila ages ago, kickass).

JF isn't able to lose his "blackness" when he's acting IMO, something Will Smith can do with a lot more ease.

cant touch pacino, no matter how many garbage movies hes been in, a la brando. As for the director not sure yet
