12 Angry Men

Great movie, simple but very effective i really like how it was directed the claustrophic touch was brilliant. The acting was really good too.

Without a composer's creativity I didn't come up with any answer to yours. :D
It sucks. I don't have any time to watch movies and listen to film scores anymore because of the symphony writing. It has begun. But Zimmer's Holmes scores sounds nice. It's a lot of different that his old stuff I gotta say. As a Zimmer fan, wouldn't you agree ? :D

No, it sounds the same :p

I don't know, maybe it is. I haven't heard all his stuff, probably not even half. He does soooo many movies.

When it says Zimmer on the box, does it mean he actually wrote it personally or has it become a company name with him as the spearhead?
He works in a studio with all these young composers around mid 20's. If it says he composed it, then I guess he composed it. I know if one of those youths compose like Klaus Badelt, then Hans just produces it through his studio/company so it can get out with distribution as well.

It would be an honor if he took me under his wing.
You would see me bashing and hurling retarded jokes at him. We would have a nice student-teacher rivalry. :p

I don't know man, you never know, I try to keep an open mind with this shit cause anything can happen if you're an artist. I just try to work work work so I can reach where he's reached.

You know what annoys me. When they cut scores for production as a cd they often leave the best parts of the movie out of it. wtf is that about.

Another thing that sucks is score that is overly "helping along" the movie. It's full of stupid minuscule themes, but nothing ever lasts long enough to enjoy. 30 tracks, half of them a minute long. :disagree:

I expect you to address these flaws. :D

I know what you mean when they cut scores for a production CD. Then you're gona have to look for Vol.2 or some shit. I know Hans did that same thing for Gladiator which is one of my favorite scores ( )...2 CD's, "Gladiator" and "More Music from Gladiator" which is quite simply retarded cause the 2nd one was just epic but released at a later date...

As for those 30 tracks, I love those 30 track "type" ques but if there going to put that shit as a distributed CD, then that's even more retarded

Yeah, I don't know who decides what gets produced but it's gotta be a nitwit. You watch the movie, think to yourself "fantastic score, can't wait to hear it without the gunfire and explosions" and then they come out with that. Even better when they put out the "soundtrack" (retarded) instead of the score. Like for Bad Boys, one of my favorite scores, the soundtrack was easy to find and it had one track of score, the rest were mediocre songs that were included in the movie to help sell records. Much later I found the actual score.

As for those 30 tracks, I love those 30 track "type" ques but if there going to put that shit as a distributed CD, then that's even more retarded
One of the most infuriating ones was Batman Begins. I'm not saying the whole thing rocked, but there were some grand moments in there. The score came out so botched that basically there wasn't anything good left. :andy2:

Yeah, that tends to happen a lot. I don't know why.

Molossus was the one that stood out for Batman Begins IMO. But The Dark Knight was 10x better.
