Because i've seen movies of that genre before. I hate these kind of movies.

Sorry to barge in so late,but how can you COMPLETELY ignore a genre?Any work of art,or entertainment,is multi-dimensional.A Sci-Fi movie will have elements of Romance,Action etc.Just like a Action movie will have elements of Humor,Mystery etc.It's like saying that you hate Led Zeppelin because you don't like heavy metal/hard rock bands and Zeppelin falls in that category,whereas they have huge elements of Blues and Folk in their music.

Coming to your Sci-Fi hate..do you not like Matrix,Equilibrium,Star Wars,Total Recall,Terminator,Species,Men In Black,Deep Impact etc?

All these are science fiction movies.And TBH,I cannot believe that you dont even like Terminator.Our generation grew up on that movie FFS
