It's a movie for people who are fascinated by the Universe and astronomy. People who are not interested in such things won't find anything there.

Personally I think the movie is anywhere from very good to great but it could have been legendary and missed by a little bit.

I guess it's one of those movies you're either gonna love or hate. I highly doubt there's a middle ground.
When a lot of the dialogue is concerning theoretical physics and the science of relativity in regards to space travel and its effect on time, you're gonna lose a few people.

I liked it. There's a lot of subtle and not-so subtle homage to Kubrick. The 3rd act is a stretch, with the usual Nolan plot holes, but all in all it's very enjoyable. Definitely not a film for the Transformers crowd though.

Interstellar is PG-13?

Interstellar... Matthew Mcconaughy and Anne Hathaway as leads destroyed any potential this film had of being great. Seriously, the idea to cast those two in this kind of film. :inter:

Still, the film itself was pretty good in overcoming such obvious acting shortcomings, a very interesting premise that could have been more fully developed... so 7/10 for me.
