Have you seen The Raven Trilogy? Three films from Iceland made in the 80s and 90s about the Vikings that were quite good. They won a few awards. When The Raven Flies is the first film.
This interests me very much. So this is the trilogy, right?

The Raven Flies
Shadow of the Raven
The White Viking

Find the Director's cut of the last film. It's called Embla. It's how the director envisioned the last film, and is significantly different from The White Viking which was more the vision of the producers. TO be fair, both are worth watching.

Pirate Bay links with seeds:

Here is Embla available part by part on Youtube with English Subs:

One more (retarded) question. Those parts are a linked story, right?

Suddenly half of tuz wants to watch cheap Icelandic vikings film from the 80's. :D
Have you seen them? They're decent films, nothing spectacular, but they were rather ambitious and "big budget" for the Icelandic film industry. :shifty:

Last week I attended "Fantasy FilmFest". It's a great genre (horror, thriller and science fiction) festival and I've seen some good movies.

- The Rover: It's an OK post-apocalyptic movie. Good acting by Guy Pearce.

- Killers: from the procedures of The Raid. It's a good Japanese/Indonesian action movie.

- Faults: Mary Elizabeth Winstead was better in the fappening.

- Honeymoon: average movie. Only watched it because of Rose Leslie. :p

- Patema Inverted: A good Anime. Same concept as 'Upside Down' but much better.

- Cold in July: very brutal and intense movie. Michael C. Hall :tuttosport:

- The Voices: from Marjane Satrapi director of Persepolis. A very weird and fucked up movie but in a good way.
Ryan Reynolds best performance so far. He's a serial killer.

- What we do in the shadows: best comedy horror movie I've seen in a while. As good as Shaun of the dead.

Watched Master & Commander for the first time since it came out. Wasn't a fan back then, but it really blew me away this time around. Since I'm loning it on this friday night - does anyone have a suggestion of a movie which has the same feel as this? I could really go for one more.

Red Cliff - some epic scenes.

Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind - Brilliant. I actually liked this one more than Mononoke and Spirited Away. Miyazaki is a legend.

Bella - Decent movie.

The Fault in Our Stars - Emotional and pretty tough.

Infernal Affairs - I liked it.

The Butterfly Effect -
