Children of Men is very good. I never liked the main actor (forgot his name) but I thought he put in a good performance in that one. I had no idea what to expect from that movie when I watched it but it surprised me a lot.

Clive Owen... I was never much of a fan either before CoM. He was really good in that.

Just watched the American remake of Funny Games (2007). I had seen it before, but I love it, it's a great movie. Never saw the original German version, but I read that they are nearly identical. It's a really disturbing film, but very very good.

I don't think it's imdb rating does it justice. But to each his own.

Yeah very good movie. Clive Owen is alright, not my favorite either.

Finally saw Django Unchained. Good movie, though it could have been shorter. I didn't like it as much as Basterds, but it's close. Good funny scenes and a straight-up homage to Sergio Leone.

If it was more awesomeness by Dr Schultz then I would been for it.
There are a couple of characters that didn't make it into the movie. One was Jonah Hill's character and apparently Samuel L Jackson's character had more in the original. So basically one new vignette and more Candyland.

Jonah Hills character was enough in that hilarious KKK scene, dont need more of it. But Samuel L Jacksons character was pretty good, his reaction to seeing Django the first time is frigging epic hilarity. Wouldnt minded more Candy Land, the journey up too it was bit too long for my liking.

The character that Jonah Hill played in the film is completely different from what QT originally intended in the script. Basically, he had a back story where he too was looking for a lost love and gave assistance to Django. Due to scheduling conflicts he cut the entire section and gave Hill the smaller comedic part.
