Haha yeah Trophic Thunder is absolute riot, one of the funniest I seen in a long while. And the fact that an actor gets oscar nomination for a comedy spoof role (like never happend before basically) said alot of how insanely awesome Robert Downey Jr was in this movie :D

You know a movie is awesome when even Tom Cruise is awesome :D

Im downloading Funny People right now, i found Zohan amazing and now im curious to see if Adam Sandler can continue to entertain me. Should i continue, or is it better to stop ar 7%? I know that Sandler is just an actor here, but the main guy is to be blamed for 40 year old virgin, so the film can't be a complete dissapointment, can it? :)

I thought aside from the trailer intro, one or two little jokes and the Tom Cruise cameo it wasn't that funny, but obviously I don't find ridiculous as funny as you do :D

It was a total on point spoof on Hollywood, it was so over the top you couldnt help laughing your ass off. I generally dont think Jack Black is haha funny even if amusing dude, but the lines and the role he had in this movie was insane :D

But yeah, you gotta atleast appriciate Robert Downey Jr, he is like 95% why this its awesome :D I think it would have fallen flat without him.

Really? It was total crap. Eric Bana was the only good thing about it actually, but even he couldn't save it. Better than Alexander, but still pretty shitty.

BTW Who else here likes period films? Don't you just love about anything that takes place before 1980s? I do :D
For example, I've really enjoyed Inglourious Basterds and Public Enemies this year.

Eric Bana is indeed a huge talent, his performance in Chopper is one of my favourites of all time by any actor. He was so funny in it as well id like to see him act in a similar role its been too long since he has done comedy.

I loved it, it was better than Alexander, and much better than that overrated crap called Gladiator.

You gotta admit Brad Pitt was great too, and his lover was :touched: I wanna marry that woman.

I like period movies because they are historical, anything relating to History is interesting to me. But pre-80s? Meeh, more like pre-WW1 and anything before last century. Too modern isnt too fun, the further back, the better (most recent times I like is medieval times, everything after that doesnt feel so ancient, just too famliar).
