It was a total on point spoof on Hollywood, it was so over the top you couldnt help laughing your ass off. I generally dont think Jack Black is haha funny even if amusing dude, but the lines and the role he had in this movie was insane :D

But yeah, you gotta atleast appriciate Robert Downey Jr, he is like 95% why this its awesome :D I think it would have fallen flat without him.
That guy is mental, I don't think he is all there.

I loved it, it was better than Alexander, and much better than that overrated crap called Gladiator.

You gotta admit Brad Pitt was great too, and his lover was :touched: I wanna marry that woman.
:O Disagree with what you compared it against, but it was a pretty good movie. Ok, on par with Alexander, but I enjoyed the battle scenes in that more, especially in India.

Then why did you just tell me you dont think its impossible to learn anything from a film?
You misunderstood.. What I meant was most people just wanna be entertained. Few are as demanding as you are, my friend.

I am not demanding, im just not apart of the mindless masses (that is not an insult to you, don't take it as so) The reason i flagged this is up is because, you seem like a keen film buff, you appear to have a good taste in films and see cinema for what it is, a form of art. Iirc you agreed with me on The Hangover, which is why it confused me when you said inglourious was your favourate film it just didnt fit. I suppose its so subjective that theresno point in talking about it. The way i see it, the film i own are the best films (i own some sht ones from when i was 13) I just wish i owned more (i have about 90) would rather hae 900 lol.

This is an example of how powerful cinema can be: (keeping it mainstream)

Out of interest what do you think of watchmen? I changed my mind on it yesterday.
It's slow, but if you actually collect some patience and focus on the ideas they mention there, the philosophical stuff. There's some deep shit there. That Dr. Manhattan character, how the absolute power made him so cold and detached from everything, because really... Does anything matter when you have absolute power over it (the matter)?

    It's quite trippy I say :D

Hey there, I'm interested in watching some non-holywood movies, last time a watched a German movie it was really interesting and I really like it, cos the topics from holywood movies are really boring, Any recommendation?
