It was better than i thought it was going to be.
Really, that's surprising. Especially coming from you :D

The movie was idiotic. 80% of the on-screen dialogue was made useless by the "twist" ending.
Exactly. That oh so very clever twist meant that half of what happened before no longer made any sense whatsoever. I have nothing against a decent twist, but this was just ridiculous.

Did you enjoy 'Guy Richies magical sight seeing of London"?

All the gratuitous landmarks over and over and over and over and over.
I've never been to London and the only landmark I can recall by sight is Big Ben. ( I know the names of other landmarks but I wouldn't know them if I saw them) So it didn't bother me much, though it was obvious that Richie was trying to showcase the architecture.

I went to see it twice, first with my gf and it annoyed me (really detracted from what was looking to be a good film). The second time my brother wanted to see it and i decided to count....it was in 50s when i decided to give up. I daresay most of them are more recognisable to me as i live 20 miles down the road. But the first establishing shot was of St Pauls Cathedral which cynically screemed WE'RE IN LONDON....followed by the end of the film being based around the construction of Tower Bridge & Westminster...i was like :sergio:

so i went to see 'I Love You Phillip Morris' and it was a really good example of indiewood. I will never be able to look at Jim Carrey in the same way again and if you are at all uncomfortable with Homosexuality i would suggest not going to see it, about 15 people walked out during the screening i was in. It gets its national release here on friday and iirc it gets released at the end of April in the US and i would wholeheartedly recomend going to see it, c'est tres bien & brilliant acting from Carrey & McGregor
