I'd suggest watching it with English subs. So you read, understand everything, while you're also hearing the lang. I don't see what's wrong with that :p
Everytime I watch an Asian or generally foreign movie with subtitles I feel like I am missing out on a shitload of hidden gold despite following the subject of the movie. I would start with crappy fun movies and move towards the good ones as your learning progresses

It's not ugly, it's just too complicated for you english speaking dumbfucks.
I could probably learn it no problem, I already speak 3 languages and will probably learn a few more as I go on. My parents speak 5 languages and so did my grandparents(not the same ones, grandparents didn't speak Italian or french), being multi-lingual is something that is very common in the Somali community.

The unilingual anglophones those are the ones that have a little harder time then most when learning a language, it's what I've noticed personally.
