I watched it 2 days ago, like the new franchise too but this was the weakest addition so far. It started off well, but just after they get into nebula and got wrecked by Krall, story became pointless. Felt like a way to just show next action scene. Lacked the clear chemistry and adventure of previous films.

It was definitely the weakest but still a decent effort. I did laugh out loud at the method of defeating the enemy. Though campy was a decent touch. I questioned the bringing in Justin Lin, though hes good with the FF.

Also, just seeing that Spielburg is directing Ready Player One. :tuttosport:

I heard he was involved in production but directing? Damn, that's perfect. Considering the book is a love letter to geeky 80s pop fiction.

Should be be great, enjoyed the book alot more then I thought I would.

Tho I question how this book is able to be fully adapted? There's alot of crazy ideas like the war games movie scenes the main character actually has to play through like he is there, that one together with all the other insane amount of 80 references. I take just getting the rights to use these franchises let alone be able to shoot them will be incredible daunting task.

McConaughey and Elba  nice to see King's adaptation coming out eventhough I haven't read it so far
Really excited for this movie. A huge fuss has been made over Elba being cast at the lead character (in the book the character is based on Clint Eastwood). I hope it isnt a let down.

Swiss Army Man- weird, dark movie with just the right amount of humour really enjoyed it.

Random, It's just a book, if anything I don't read enough, wish I had more time. A miracle if I read more then 1 book a month (usually on the train to work). Movies even less.

Try not watching 10 matches daily :p
Actually cut down on football a lot past two years. Juve games, one big EPL game maybe if I can be bothered, and CL games (usually one Juve game and one non Juve game).

For a whole week on average just watch Juve really.

Yeah thats the very one. It is really crazy and sometimes quite childish but is a very dark, deep and twisted movie with some feel good moments and a cool soundtrack.
