Ok, watched Captain America Civil War, the good thing, Scarjo! everything else was just meh.

Batman v Superman was still better for me, no doubt.

It was just another Avenger movie. It wasn't bad, but it was not very good either. I'm one of the few who liked previous Captain America movies, so it was disappointing to see his movie turned into another Avenger movie. The source material is so promising and they pull this.
The worst part of all this is that the box office numbers will make DC change all their movies into buddy action movies.

Interesting, but the plot annoys me. It's always escapism with Hollywood. How about providing the guy some counseling so he can overcome his sense of loss and low self-esteem, wouldn't that be some impressive AI.

I thought Captain Americuh was realgud. It confirms that Russo brothers are the best directors Marvel has right now and I'm glad they are going to direct the Infinity Wars movies.

Of course if they named it Avengers 3: Civil War it would be much closer to the truth.

Spiderman introduction to the world was pretty weak. The guy playing him seems fine, but I hate how they start from high school for the 3rd time. Spiderman wasn't a teenager in the comic books for 50 years.

Actually Spiderman was anything but crap for me. The fact he is a blabber mouth nerdy awestruck little teen is what makes this the best spiderman adaption of the comics yet. Used to read them as a kid, and Tobey was weak Peter Parker (emo) but good spidey, not believable aa teen. Andrew Garfield decent Peter Parker but too whiney and douchy as Spidey.

This new kid genuinely was a fresh start to the character that was convincing. It's only 10 minutes but he did amazing with the action scenes and was really funny. The previous adoptions didn't capture the fact Spidey is really a sanitized version of Deadpool (or Deadpool is insane version of spidey), supposed to be wisecracking clown. Kid got that part in the action scenes. It's a reboot so it must be from the beginning, and Spidey Comics spent along time on spidey being 15 year old up til college age. One of the first genuine teen superheroes along with the ghey X men band.

I think Marvel missed a trick by introducing Spiderman in the trailers. It'd have been great to see them surprise us in the theatres.

That's true, their only flaw. But then again business sense takes over, they litterally attract millions by confirming before hand he is in the movie. Nothing comes close to Spidey in Marvel comics. Not even whole avengers put together.

The best thing about the movie for me is that it got me excited about Black Panther. Unless they make it about Bucky again, the movie going to be good. Especially with the people involved in the project.

Civil War - Bah. I'm really not a fan of super hero movies and I've said it many times. There's not much to expect from it but seeing it in a movie can't be anything but a disappointment (bar a couple of movies). I'd always prefer cartoons and/or comics when it comes to it. I liked Black Panther and Superman. But as a movie it was pretty meh. If people say this is the best one it only shows how shit movies are. I personally liked Antman better. Some say this is a popcorn movie and I might agree at some level but in my books it's gonna be average at best and surely something that I won't see twice.

Hot Fuzz - Pretty unique and I loved how it was filmed. Some funny moments. It's pretty good imo and I'm not a fan of comedies (or at least I think majority of comedies are pure crap, although I do think they are pretty damn hard to make nowadays).

The Town - Came across it totally randomly tbh. I really liked it. Acting was quite natural and if anything I don't mind seeing Ben Affleck as an actor/director so I don't think it's a bad idea him making/acting a Batman movie. It was pretty smooth (I watched the extended edition) and it felt like it lasted 1.5h. Pretty entertaining

I thought it was okay, but you never really get the feeling that anyone's in danger. I too liked Ant-Man better, and thought Spider-Man and Antman (and the battle at the airport) was the highlight of the movie.
