John Wick, damn this is a badass action movie, all about action, nothing else, loved its unforgiving style and approach. With how much effort they put into the the gunplay/fighting coreography, I had to look up who made it, and ofcourse, its made by a team of badass stuntmen who focused on what they do best, and only that (you dont watch it for anything else but brainless action).

watched several movies recently.. obviously needed a lot of catching up to do

pitch perfect 2 - good for laughs if you go in with no expectations/comparisons to the first
kingsmen - I loved it, esp. the massacre at the church (this sounds wrong but if you watch the movie you'll understand)
wild - hated it, thought it was too slow, but one scene did make my tears flow
silver linings playbook - a bit kooky, but I liked it
what maisie knew - nice, pleasant movie if you want something relaxing

Just finished watching it, it's absolutely brilliant. Totally captivating all the way. Oscar Isaac is hell of an actor

Also bizzare cuz I realized I kinda know/recognize the main actress playing the AI robot (kinda spooky how well they did the CGI on her) , blast from the past, dated her half sister in high school. The cute petite dancer from way back is now an accomplished international actress.


Also it bummed me out this was the directors debute movie, his style and approach was so compelling I was hoping to download other movies with him immediately, but no go.
