Nothing is wrong with black players, its just that its sends a wrong signal with a lot of black players on the team. Juve is a Italian club, there is a lot of excellent Italian players to buy instead!, youngsters too.
wrong signals??we'd only be sending wrong signals if we actually made a concious effort to buy italian players and stayed away from people of other races, religions etc.

and don't speak as if there are no darker skinned italians either.

Hang on delpiero10, are you saying all this in terms of skin colour or foreign nationalities? I mean, Nedved is as foreign to Italians as are Appiah and Onwuachi, but is it not 'sending out the wrong signals' just because he has white skin?

I hope you're not gonna say that it's different because Czech republic is a European country, because Thuram and Davids are European too. Is it okay to have Montero but not Zalayeta and Olivera, since after all the latter two are black? I sincerely hope that you don't differentiate between the two parties :groan:

Not purchasing a player because of his skin colour, race or nationality is absolutely ridiculous. I thought better of you, delpiero10, and right now I hope that I'm misinterpreting what you wrote.

Jeez I hope that that's the case, both for the sake of DP10 and ourselves :D

btw it's widely believed (if not scientifically proven) that people of african descent are usually more athletic because they have more quick-twitch muscles which aid them in acceleration and jumping (even though the latter trait is used mostly in sports like basketball, where the dominance of blacks is apparent to all)

i am with delpiero10.

ok maybe we need a defender and a striker.

bud some off you guys are talking about 7a8 players.

and yes i want my juve also to be an italian juve .

dont get me wrong i love nedved ,emo, trezeguet, but if we copy arsenal than it isent juve the best italian club any more, its always fun to say that italia1982 were worldchampions with almost every player in the first 11 were juventus italian stars.

and i still believe today, that IF a italian clubs, only italian players have, and if frence clubs and english clubs and spains clubs, only have players from there country,

that the italian clubs win every year the champions leageu with 4teams in the semi final.

because italy have the best talent in this world, bud they dont get the change because too much players from diferent country's

the figc says that in the nex 2years, italian clubs get the rule to play minimum 6italian players in the first 11 and that's good by me, its also better for the italian national team.

ciaooo

still love neddy :D

And what youngsters did you have in mind? hyped mexes, ferrari?, they are not available. And to your knowledge it is not a competition to have the youngest (most unexperienced) defense. Look at Milan, none of them are under 28. Our youngsters are Legrottaglie, Chiellini and Zebina, which can and will learn from Montero and Thuram.

But if you believe a defender is too old when he has passed 30+!, then I would really like to hear what your genius :thumb: plan is........
I hope you don't mind me pointing out that Mexes and Ferrari WERE available and Nesta is only 27 :)

Our defenders are good physically, and they are all experienced and professional.
Physicality, experience and professionalism are all useful qualities, but IMO none of them are essential and without the necessary talent you can't be successful, regardless of how physical, experienced and professional you are.

I dont think they as players arent good enough, (example: Legrottaglie in Chievo, Montero a couple of seasons ago, and Ferrara.).
You're living in the past. At 27 years of age Legrottaglie has had ONE good season, while Montero and Ferrara (no disrespect to either of the two) are passed it.

Couldnt agree with you more, just because a player has 1 good season it dosent mean that they r good, to be good and deserve a place in our line up u must be consistant and not go up and down in form like an elevator. And Montero and Ferrara WERE good but that is in the past, pele was good in the past and now hes on viagra coz he cant get a boner but put him in a starting line up now and he wouldnt be able to do anything, the same applies to Montero and Ferrara soon they will need walking sticks and zimmer frames

Emerson is the best midfielder in the world together with Nedved.

Oh please no Trabelsi crap, Oddo is ten times better than him, and Juve has enough black players in the squad as it is today . Italians first, Juve is not a Arsenal kind of club.

What's up with that??? WHAT THE **** IS WRONG WITH YOU???

IT seems the Juve administration board will meet today regarding the 2-2 match against Djurgarden and to speed on the transfers of the likes of Oddo, Jankulovksi, Simone Inzaghi and IAQUINTA(?!)....
