Mauro Camoranesi will stay at Juventus if the club show enough ambition this summer, according to his agent.
The Argentine-born midfielder was courted by Lyon and Valencia last summer, but the Bianconeri insisted that he remained at the club in Serie B.
Now it appears as though there’s a good chance he will remain in Turin for a few years more – if they can match his ambitions.
“We have an excellent relationship with Juve’s current management. All doors are open, starting with sporting director Alessio Secco,” said the agent to Teleradiostereo Sport.
“We are aware that the club suffered serious financial losses, but we also know that the return to Serie A will mean that there will be heavy investment in the squad.
“If that is the case, Camoranesi is ready to stay, as he already proved in the summer when deciding to help the club fight for promotion,” concluded the agent.
The world champion is one of several key players who have yet to decide their future, as David Trezeguet and Gianluigi Buffon are also unsure of what will happen next year.
