Id agree with this "rather lose while attacking fervently than passively accept draw". Except I havent seen Juve attacking fervently against Udinese but instead our games look chaotic, because we dont control them. Almost every game this season could have gone either way. How many chances did we create against Udinese? We are slow, predictable, players look lethargic and unmotivated. Lets just grab those few points and get over with it. Wasted year.

Very true. Our “fervent attack” against Udinese in the second half of that game, consisted on 8,000,000 sideways passes played at a snails pace, players not moving from their static positions, no clear cut chances and our players thinking they we’re playing NFL instead of football, with our players shots at goal ending up in the stadium car park.

Udinese were the better, more composed, more hungry, more compact and more determined team in that game. And their winner at the end was fully expected and deserved.

Why is this fool still allowed to coach us? This is doing irreparable damage to the club at the moment.

He is basically saying he doesn’t give a shit about the transfer market. He just coaches the players he has - which is all well and good if he could adapt, change the approach and tactics in game, try new formations, motivate the players, inspire them etc.

Seeing that management rarely take the suggestions of coaches on board when it comes to recruitment, I fail to see why we swapped Allegri with Sarri. We pretty much had the perfect manager before, who could adapt and come up with new solutions for the team every season, even when he had important players sold from under him all the time.

That's why the coach should have flexible ideas as the biggest asset and not a footballing philosophy. Which makes the whole idea of assigning Sarri fucked up beyond any recognition .

I think his cycle with this bunch of players might have been. But he wanted a bit of an overhaul because he knew there was big areas of weakness (midfield especially) but of course it’s easier to sack a manager than upgrade the team.

It seems to me the moment Allegri raised his voice and demanded change, they sacked him for an even bigger yes man.

He was fired because the chemistry between him and the team was destroyed and management sided with the players or at least thought it'd be easier to replace the coach.

What they completely disregarded though is 1) you never fire a top coach like that, you make him your Ferguson (not literally in terms of years, but in terms of respect, power in the locker room and support) and 2) players who give up on a top coach like that will do it with the next one even easier bc they succeeded once already.

And now literally everything Allegri said or wanted with this team is becoming true. Winning is not a given, players are not good enough and you need to back your coach.
