We have big squad to choose. Yet he dont want to rotate. From the press conference, he said that Pjanic has muscle problem since midweek, yet he doesnt have courage to rotate. Matuidi, Ronaldo, Bentancur, De Ligt etc played international game and he should be rotate them if fitness is the issue while playing under very hot condition

With Costa our for Atleti I don’t want to see that imbecile Bernadeschi stinking up the right wing.

Hopefully we can see the return of Dybala in a 4-3-1-2 with Ronnie & Higuain up front. No more Khedira-Matuidi in the midfield. I can live with one of them but please to god not both

After the NT break and with AM around the corner, I would preferably have rotated. The injury on Pjanic may perhaps even have been avoided if he had rotated. Although I can only speculate on that. I do however understand he is seeking continuity and trying to build a foundation. Changing and chopping in the beginning will make it take a longer time to establish and with only one game a week it is difficult to build momentum and rotate. I also agree that he seem to be very stubborn, I do however also appreciate that he has a vision and ideas he wants to implement rather than e.g. Allegri who is WC but doesn't really have a particular vision and his strengths are instead changing and chopping to adapt to circumstances, individual skills and opposition. Regarding the stubbornness I would say that all coaches are fairly stubborn in certain ways. Allegri certainly was too. I wouldn't really frame Sarri as stubborn to 433 as I think we are rather playing a fluid 4-4-2 than a 4-3-3. One lesson I do hope that Sarri learns that Allegri never did was... well... it's fairly easy to defend against us. Stay close to Pjanic and whoever is playing as RM/RW. Leave Matuidi with acres of space so that we give him the ball and as soon as the ball is moving towards him - press hard! The rest is self explanatory.

That's why he was great here, at a club where we do lot's of changing and chopping almost every summer.
