is he that good or only overrated?
I don't want to say he takes unnecessary risks, it's more like he tries to do too much at times and maybe that's a product of too much confidence. Needs to model himself after Chiellini a little more, simpler movements, more physicality less cute stuff.
He definitely is that good though got all the tools.

At 21, he's a starting CB at Juventus and for his national team. He's definitely 'that good'. He will make mistakes, that's to be expected. In a couple of years from now he'll be a powerhouse.
Yeah.

Although, to put things into perspective: A Juve that finished 4th & didn't stand a chance in Europe. And a national team that is fairly underwhelming.

He isn't really getting slaughtered here in Holland. De Boer is, rightfully so, getting all the negative attention. De Boer fucked up so many times as the dutch coach, even a 10 year old with some FM experience could do better.

Yeah just read that they expect him to get the sack or quit the job himself. Both expected today. So frustrated that Koeman quit to go to Barca and this fucktard took the job :( also: so happy that we didn't went for Depay, he was extremely poor the entire tournament.
OT: De Ligt had a good tournament, prior to the red card.

If MDL can stay fit, and Bonucci/Chiellini too while continuing the level of performance they had this summer, our backline is going to be nuts.

Demiral going to stay I guess if/when we need an M1 Abrams to kneecap someone outside the box hopefully, we can use him.
