And why, must i ask, do you people think that 3-5-2 is a defensive formation and that we are more likely to get a good result playing 3-5-2 rather than the 4-3-1-2 or the 4-3-3 or any other 4-man backline formation??? That is plain stupid and its because of reasoning like that, that we cant go past that disguisting 3-5-2, cause people think that whenever we need a good result we need to switch to the 3 man backline. Well i say BULLSH-IT!!

Why not play a more defencive 4-3-1-2?? Why not play that formation where players will be instructed to not attack as much, but to sit and wait for the counter;s?? $#@! the 3-5-2, $#@! 3-man backline!! Just $#@! it!
I would like to think that Alegri read this and that is why he played the formation that he played tonight........ My point was proven tonight. 3-5-2 doesnt mean more defence, it means less attack and that is bad. The quasi 4-3-3 (or maybe a 4-5-1) that Alegri played tonight proved that we should put the 3-5-2 back where it belongs.....in history!

Brilliant tonight. Just brilliant. Once Marchisio and Khedira come back, we will look much better and more compact.

I still would like an explanation about the Cuadrado incident. And if the guy keeps it like this, I will start becoming anxious about his loan not having a buy option.

Allegri reminds me of Lippi. No strict formation, fluid gameplan that brings the best out of players.

You know, I've seen Khedira's name pop up a few times today with people excited for his comeback. I know I am I only wonder what suddenly is making people excited for him when a lot of people have been skeptical...

I mean his goalscoring chance came about due to a random deflection anyways tbh, not taking away anything from his excellent finish. But it wasn't the result of any controlled gameplay or anything like that.
Notice our started LW scored from the RW with his left foot.

Imagine that. our LW & RW are capable of switching from time to time and aren't limited to the one spot they start from. People freaked out about Morata "can't play LW" blah blah blah.

Max told him that he should not Bullshit around on the sideline and instead run towards the corner with the ball to waste time and keep the ball far away from the own goal.

I don't recall Cuadrado being that good defensively - Maybe I just didn't watch Fiorentina that much - but today he bossed.

I think it has a lot to do with what Allegri is asking him to do specifically. Not to mention, the 2nd half he had Allegri in his ear for 45 mins :D
He had some amazing interceptions. I recall one in the last 20 mins where he throws himself at it and hoofs it the hell away from the box like an old school good defender would. Maybe that was Allegri "Vai vai vai cazzo!" working in his ear. :D

 At least now he knows the big boss won't take any shit.

But seriously, I know where he's coming from. That win for Juventus is the best thing that could happen to the team and Allegri himself right now. At that point in the match he was about to go into cardiac arrest. Poor little Cuadrado noodles hair picked the wrong side of the pitch to play  This is how he should have answered:

The guy is a beast. Has a great first touch, can dribble, is fast, can pass, shoot, defend and be such pain for defenders with his unorthodox style and drawing of fouls.

He will be a big player for us if he can be consistent.

Has anyone a gif of his rabona :tuttosport:

That was nice and very effective, took two city players out sending ball back to Licht's path. To be honest, he used to be alot slicker and faster in his dribbling, few times he miss kicked while doing step overs and lost the possession as result. perhaps due to his lack of playing time in chelsea. even though he might be the most inform player at the squad at the moment, he himself is not at his best yet.
