I ve explained in detail why a talk about our youngsters cannot be a serious argument, at least in a Juve forum.
Facts that Giovinco is better player than Ronaldinho can only be facts within this forum.
And even if he is, i ve explain why this BOD cannot be praised for a decision that doenst belong to them.

Feel free to point out one good decision they took this year!

I never ignored a single sane argument, on the contrary half of my overwhelming arguments were ignored...

Milan need to do more, they had no gifts from Moggi, like Giovinco and they did better than us. -

Milan brought Senderos where we couldnt bring Ivanovic and had to settle with Knezevic, did our genius board made the better choice again?

I didnt bring up the comparison with Molinaro, but at least Riise is a football player,
we hadnt any, we brought DC back and we ought to offload, Molinaro crap and but a proper player, like Fiorentina, Roma and Milan did!

LB and CB should have been our priorities for this year mercato, these where our weaklings and our BOD failed to see that and do anything about it, for a 3 rd consecutive year, we are repeating the same mistakes over and over again...
I've never said that Giovinco is better than Ronaldinho, I'm not crazy or on drugs...
I don't see why we must consider Giovinco, Marchisio & co. as Moggi's gifts, as a matter of fact I think that if Moggi stayed at Juve and we weren't relegated Giovinco would never see Juve's first team nto to mention Marchisio.

Milan bought Sonderos cuz they couldn't get Ivanovic and hey they have mone and mastermind transfer guru not some lame Sucko and we bought Knezevic only as a fifth choice, you forgot Mellberg who is way better than Sonderos.

You brought Riise comparison.

And finally some thing were we agree and that is that we needed to bring another LB and a CB, but still that doesn't mean that Milan had a better mercato which is obvius topic here.

At first yes, in last few pages we are disscissing Milan vs. Juve mercato. But I was refering to this thread. And the name of this thread is Juves transfer camp....
not Juve versus Milan mercato. My anser was on the question about our mercato. I dont like the comparsions between our mercato and the one of Bilan.
To your second point- Im not a pessimist, the only thing I want is that Juve should be perfect. And this transfer campaign wasnt nearby perfect. Im a perfectionist. I would be pleased and satisfied if we brought a WC defender and a creative mid.
I am accepting the opinions of others. But I can disagree about som points. I have told you only my opinion, nothing else. Its not like Im telling you whats right, or not.
I dont think, and I never told that Senderos can replace Nesta. Hes mediocre in my opinion(the truth is, I didnt saw many Arsenal games last season)
Tell me please, what time I have compared Riise to Molinaro

and the post I have replied was Goggo -s not mine:p
Only first 2-3 sentences were written for you, the pessimist thing and co. were for Cronios. ;)

If we add an LB and Aquilani then this mercato would chance from a total disaster to a full success in the blink of an eye.
But we cannot judge by speculation and hopes that we will buy more and better players, that why the title of this thread says "so far".

I sense some ppl voted with the hope that we will bring more players, like when we got Poulsen instead of Alonso, ppl assumed we will also bring Stankovic too.
When we brought Knezevic some assumed we will loan Ivanovic too.

We have to make a new poll when the transfer campaign will be officially over!
Judge the facts only and no more false hopes and speculations!
You've dissapointed me there, Aquilani would not make a difference or bring us anything at the time.

And I agree that when mercato is finished we should make a new poll.

if you want to compare bayern to us then don't mention their defense because ours has a bit of an edge over their defense. They have a lot of unproven player like Lell, jansen and Breno who could be very good but not yet. Lucio is a sorry excuse of a defender and if you notice he always had someone whose having a good year next to him and if he doesn't then his deficiencies become really obvious.

Looking at the squad overall its even debatable but not the defense.
WORD

Now prove to him why the violas aren't better than us please :).

I never said you did said that Giovinco>Ronaldinho, but many other Juve fans did and many more would, it is just a debate that makes this thread worthless.
If we vote by the hype this forum holds on Giovinco and add him to our managements decisions, then half of the forum would vote for a ten.
Since Giovinco is our last hope, our messiah, our attraction and the new icon.
I mentioned too many reasons why we shouldnt count them and just repeat them for Allen. And if Moggi was still here after the relegation, i believe we would still use Giovinco as a back up, but we would still buy someone better than Poulsen, using the same money, at this very moments we need all the help we can take and Moggi never dismissed such a wild talent like Giovinco, unless Manure were to offer 50mil+ and he would secure Diego for 25mil
This management was indirectly forced to keep/bring Giovinco, they didnt create him and his arrival was by far the most logical solution, smth Secco could barely see and if it wasnt for CR, the fans and the praises of the media and foreign coaches, Giovinco would be included in the Amauri deal.
No need to praise our owners for not having the will to invest in our team, they were lucky enough to inherit such a gifted youth from the Moggi era and not worthy of such a gift, because they can barely sense their true value.
They only see Cheap, young and Italian in them, just like the case with Molinaro.
Molinaro's existence and support in our team only proves that.
If those youngsters werent as gifted as they are, we would still keep them anyway, because of the above mentioned reasons.

You've dissapointed me there, Aquilani would not make a difference or bring us anything at the time.

I disagree, i ve been saying for a year that a Cm is exactly what we need the most, Alonso or Aquilani would be exactly what we need, if you saw the match right now and noticed Marchisio influental game in our midfield, you would understand exactly what i am talking about...

If you didnt, i ll just quote Osman:
The only good thing from this utter borefest, is that as you saw, even though not standout performance, one saw what kind of play Marchisio contributes with (not quality of the performance perse, but TYPE of performance).

Which is a CM that takes initiative individually to either run with the ball or crosses/through ball passes, trying to find space ahead, basically connecting the defence with the attack quite well (whenever Camo drifted in, he went wide and functioned as a bit of a winger). Our other CMs/DMs are mainly more spreading the ball sideways to the fullbacks (that do just lame crosses) and more stationary in their positions, not box to box dynamics as Marchisio did from time to time.
precisely what i mean, and precisely what we need...

and still everybody was on alonsos ass but did not see that it was pointless to have a player that plays long balls on the flanks without someone who can cross from there

The guys responsible for our youth academy left along with the triade, after the Moggi era, didnt they?
I have no idea
I don't see why would the coaches of the youth teams leave the team, even if we changed the board. Scouts, doctors and coaches are the same as the players. They're under contract.
It would have been an ultimate stupidity to terminate their contracts.

I really hope we didn't do that.

Off-topic: It seems that Roma agreed Menez deal, if those news are true than I must say that they overtook us in mercato.

Yes that's a great signing for them. Menez is a quality player, United, Liverpool & Inter were linked with signing him previously. Roma have solid centre backs in Mexes & juan, and a decent fullback in Cicinho, a world midfielder in De rossi, Totti, Vucinic & Menez in attack are formidable, thier GK is decent. I would probably say even they have a better XI than us in terms of indivdual quality, and have now have overtaken us in the mercato.

Our transfer so far have been absolutely shocking! Poulsen wont add a thing apart from yellow cards. the only up side is the fact we brought back our youngsters. Amauri i love him in the air attcking towards goals as he is a threat but he needs time for me to judge. hopefully we'll get one more signing. hope it'll be quality and not another handy sub bench warmer.
