I don't like how they lined up the stars. Also the third star is a different colour.

Not sure what you mean about the colour of the third star, but as for the alignment, we should have realised that they would stack them like this. The Juve logo isn't round or wide, so it's not conductive to doing this:

To go from three to four stars D) it makes more sense to stack them, like a few South American teams do.

And the thing is. Adding that third star is an "option". The shirt standard is shipping with two stars. So in order to still make it symmetrical, the free customizable third star must be added on top of the two others.

I thought so too, but the colour change is too different me thinks. I hope I'm wrong.

I think the stars position has something to do with the reported news that nike already produced them with two stars. The cheapest, and easiest way to overcome the problem as Juve wants 30 sul campo instead of the 2 stars is to sell the already made kits and (free) adding additional star + 30 sul campo under the Juve logo. They will make the new one for matchday without the 2 stars, surely cheaper than making the whole new kits just for the sake of putting off the stars.
