I've watched a bit. It's a great marketing tool for you guys. I don't know how many new fans are going to stumble onto it on Netflix, but it's definitely well done for what it's supposed to do.

Nice to get a look behind the scenes. Its all quite formal though and feels a bit like one big commercial (probably what its meant to be anyway)

Not really up close and personal, except from some nice moments with Buffon, Marchisio and Pjanic.

The announcer is really annoying, only thing i really disliked.

Other than that, pretty decent stuff.

Yep. Other clubs will get their own Netflix docs soon, I'm sure.

This is the first of it's kind though, right? I've never seen nor heard about a docu-series about a football club, are we really the first ones?

I've watched the first two so far as I didn't have a lot of time over the weekend, it's really interesting to see the club culture and parts of our training sessions as well as get to know our players better, but can't help but think that this is way too professional, it feels like Agnelli edited every sentence and picture

Yeah, it's just a shallow marketing gimmick but I'm not the least bit surprised. Honestly Juve would have an insane story to tell; from Calciopoli, being spit on by the whole footballing world, demoted and with all the big names leaving, only some legends remained and fought the team back to Serie A and regained our position at the very top. Beppe and Paraticis moneyball style of transfers, Conte's dominant reign.... all would've made an excellent documentary. It's just covering up Calciopoli as well as they can when it should instead be considered as the reason why this team is so very special; it fought back from the pits in a way no team could ever do, with players that put the team before all else.

German article from Spiegel criticises the series, because it's a long highly polished promotional film where Juventus seem to be an idyllic world, a smoothy and happy family, where conflicts and critics don't exist. It's not even journalism, because it's produced by the marketing company IMG, who's responsable for the marketing of Juventus in various countries. And there are just little looks behind the scenes, most of the sequences were made during public events.

I'm gonna watch it tonight, I'm still hoping for a sex scene with Claudio and Roberta.

I agree with Spiegel 100% that it was shallow and uninteresting, ctrl+c this for a different club and it becomes unwatchable. My mom liked it tho :baus:

It's true. Was as shallow as it gets and Would be of zero interest to me if i wasn't a Juventus fan already.

But i didn't expect it to be any different anwyay. Was nicely shot at least.

That's bullshit though. I didn't know shooting a documentary 100% requires you to shoot new footage. Voice overs are just as fine.

That's probably completely true.

Although I really loved just how awful Bernardeschi's sense of style is when it comes to interior decorating :D.

Probably unsurprising that the opposite can be said about Marchisio.

Absolutely true, but I still enjoyed it. Like the interview bits, especially with Pjanic. It's nice to see how grounded he still is.
