Decent results for us. League still very wide open. We can do this, right @JCK? :D
After every win I convinced myself that it is doable and that the team has what it takes to climb up there. Every time I believed that I got a slap on the face right after, the team has quality but it does not have a backbone. I am afraid that the damage that Marotta did cannot be fixed that easily.

I still think we can do it. Or at least make the Champions League which is all I care about really. We've won four straight Scudetti...I just need that CL spot for the love of god.

The season is long, we can definitely do it.

I have to quote the guys from "Io non compro la Gazzetta" (I do not buy Gazzetta)

Yesterday's win does not cancel some of our limits: sterile attack, bad management of corners and free kicks, some defensive cock ups which have costed us dearly, some of Allegri's mistakes. With this mind and our current standing, even a third place seems at risk.
Watching Inter vs Roma though this situation is even more of a paradox: in San Siro the two biggest title contenders played a game meaningless from a technical viewpoint, LegaPro (3rd division) offers better games. Of the 22 on the pitch, none of them would have had a spot in Marchesi or Ranieri Juventus. The coaches, Mancini and Garcia, are mediocre at best, definitely nowhere near being better then Allegri. With this scenario, even with our current handicap, a third place would be a failure.

Infact failure is almost certain: even winning the Scudetto with less then 10 points margin vs these charlatans would be a flop.

I'd agree somewhat with the sentiment that Serie A isn't what it once was, but for how long are we going to repeat the statement? It's akin to beating a dead horse at this point. In my opinion, the league is more even than it's been in 10 years, and all of the top teams bar Juventus and Lazio have improved since last season. The timing of the many "well, what a shit league"-posts on here and Juventus' poor form doesn't exactly seem like a coincidence, when that statement certainly wasn't thrown around when Juventus were steamrolling the league with minimum of opposition. It ends up sounding like sour grapes, most of all.

And just to add fuel to the Handanovic-Buffon fire, the former is currently shared second in the top 5 European leagues for clean sheets, and has the highest save-rate (82.6) in the league.

What fire? There is no debate. I know you want Handanovic to be good. I bet you also want Jovetic to be as good as Messi. But just wanting these things does not make them true. If that were the case, you'd have stopped posting here a long time ago.

Harsh example but not far off at times - if we concede two shots on target a game and one of them is a rocket into the top corner then Buffon will have zero clean sheets and a 50% save percentage over those games.

You're going at this the wrong way.

A bit off topic.

Who is this Stefano Sensi kid from Cesena that everybody keeps talking about? They say he is the next Verratti. Anyone knows anything about him?
