So what's everyone's thoughts on this AC Milan takeover? Will it actually make a difference? So far none of the takeovers in Serie A have had any significant difference, Roma and Inter have hardly had the impact that the EPL teams and PSG have had.

Because its not the same type of investment that PSG and City received. Milan will act like Inter where they will have to spend wisely, build a stadium and so on. They wont spend hundreds of millions over 2 or 3 seasons. Their owners arent that rich and I doubt would have the kind of corporates (like Etihad or Qatar airways) that can spend millions on shirt sponsorships.

The milanese clubs will be like german clubs.

Not necessarily a crappy future. Juve started from scratch too and it took us 5 years after the rebuilding began to win our first title. We were lucky in that we re-built when everyone in Italy was already collapsed. Its going to take amazing work for us to get back our financial standing in Europe but being #1 in Italy by a distance surely helps.

Point is, it wont take much to be a top 3 team in Italy. They just need to find a working formula

Even their(Roma's) new stadium is being financed separately by some stadium construction company so that they dont have to take on the debt so its safe to assume all the revenues coming from the stadium wont be totally going towards Roma.Maybe its not a bad thing especially when you're investing 1.2 billion euros in the project.
